Smart cities and their approaches for innovative energy solutions, new mobility and possible uses of hydrogen are the subject of the future. The EnergyAgency.NRW will prove this with the clusters EnergieRegion.NRW and EnergieForschung.NRW on February 11, 2020 at their 24th future energies congress as part of the 20th E-world energy & water.
Cities are important players in implementing the energy transition. The need to develop the permanently growing cities more sustainably is more visible than ever. But how will cities stay worth living in the future and how can they help protect the climate? And how can cities be made more sustainable? Digitization and thus concepts of a smart city can help answer these questions. In this way, buildings can be planned and managed more efficiently, mobility concepts tailored to requirements can be offered, and energy supply can be redesigned efficiently, renewable and decentrally.
The 24th Congress on Future Energies will examine the topic in a plenary session in the morning and three specialist forums in the afternoon and contribute to the exchange and networking. The established event will be led by NRW Minister of Economics Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart opens.
Finally, the North Rhine-Westphalia evening with live music at 18:3 p.m. at the state pavilion NRW in hall 370, booth XNUMX, invites you to an entertaining end to the day of the fair.
The hashtag for the event will be in the social media area # ZEn24.
