Arrowstar records magnetic ground surveys at Roberts Lake

Arrowstar records magnetic ground surveys at Roberts Lake

Vancouver, BC - 11. September 2012, Robert L. Card, President of Arrowstar Resources Ltd., ("Arrowstar" or the "Company") (TSXV: AWS), is pleased to report that the Company is conducting magnetic ground surveys at its proprietary Roberts Lake iron ore property in Ungava (Quebec). The Company has engaged Geotronics Consulting Inc. of Surrey (BC, Canada) to conduct these surveys under the supervision of David G. Mark (P.Geo.). This is the next step in our exploration program at the Roberts Lake Property.

The surveys are estimated to include 35 lines at a distance of 100 meters to 4 kilometers, which equals 140 kilometers. Furthermore, around the historically measured anomalous highs, measurements will be made at a distance of 50 meters for further 35 kilometers, increasing the total length of surveys to 175 kilometers. The magnetic surveys are intended to demarcate areas with concentrated magnetite and magnetic iron silicate deposits. The results of the surveys will help select the best drill points for the proposed diamond drill program. The Company intends to drill at the magnetic highs on the property. This program will follow the previous sampling that took place at 31. July 2012 were released when the company reported levels of up to 63,8% iron in 24 samples.

Previous work on the property, conducted under the direction of Phillip Thomas, the Company's Director and Vice-President of Exploration, has identified excellent magnetite occurrences. Further tests have confirmed that the magnetite-containing material for dry processing is suitable for producing a shipping-type, consumer-acceptable concentrate.

Phillip Thomas (BSc, MBusM, MAIG) has reviewed the contents of this news release as a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101.
