Evaluation of metals
An ISE metal valuation gives you an indication of your negotiations to sell or credit your metal to potential buyers or banks. A metal valuation is the basis of a sale of your goods in addition to the analysis.
We do not accept analyses from external institutions as the basis for an evaluation. Should you wish to commission an evaluation, an analysis from us (ISE) or one of our analysis partners must be available.
Please note the following when submitting reviews from ISE.
- Reviews are ALWAYS only valid for 6 months. Metals are subject to price fluctuations.
- Metal product ratings are ALWAYS given in the smallest unit and CANNOT be scaled linearly.
- Please always have the submitted review checked by us, by email or phone.
- Reviews that were issued before 2020 are definitely no longer meaningful.
- There is ALWAYS an ISE analysis number on an ISE assessment.
- An original ISE rating always has an ISE watermark and copy protection.
- If you are unsure, please call or write to us beforehand.
- We store ratings for a maximum of 3 years and can no longer be verified afterwards. If you are presented with an old evaluation, it is no longer meaningful and you should refrain from doing so.
We know that other “institutes” sign significantly higher ratings for different metals. But the price of a commodity is not a request that you can buy. For us, the acceptance of documentation stands for the price that is paid for it. Please consider this in advance so that you do not end up in a one-way street during your future business ventures and have to rewrite the entire documentation later.
Important: A valuation always refers to the smallest unit of a commodity (eg grams, meters, etc.). The price can only be linearly extrapolated in a few cases. In order to determine the price of your entire lot, we are happy to create one for you Metal audit.
To determine a price for a metal, we utilize a network of mine operators, producers, buyers and sellers, intermediaries and end customers that has grown organically over more than 10 years.

Our valuations provide you with a basis for negotiation and are therefore intended solely for you and your buyer. We expressly point out that we assume no liability whatsoever for any transactions resulting from them. Especially in tight markets, there are often significant price differences for the same goods. The Institute for Rare Earths and Metals never takes an active position in the market itself; neither as a seller, buyer, nor intermediary. This guarantees you the assurance of receiving a completely independent valuation.

- You will receive an invoice via PDF
- A maximum of 3 days after payment of your invoice, you will receive your evaluation in PDF format and, on the same day, the original in duplicate.

If you are presented with a valuation of our house, please have them verified by us to prevent forgeries or false information.
Please send us an e-mail ppgad@pucrs.br with the subject line "Verification" and attached the report you have received.
We will reply to you immediately by email.
All analyzes and ratings from us are from 2019 on copy-safe paper with watermarks. Let us show you the originals or verify the copies. Metals are commodities and are therefore subject to natural price fluctuations. An evaluation is therefore only valid for a period of six months.

The valuation is carried out after all care. However, the sole responsibility of any third party is to decide if the report is appropriate for their purposes. We performed our work immediately after the signature on this order confirmation. As a result, our report does not take into account events and events that lie after this date.
