Bore TIB-13-13 was drilled from the same starting point as TIB-13-12 (50) but at a steeper angle of 65 and intersected 8,8 meters (28,9 feet) with 4,78 g / t au, including 4,3 meters (14,1 feet ) with 6,15 g / t Au, about 50 meters below the intersections in TIB-13-12. The mineralized section in TIB-13-13 represents the most powerful gold exploration so far.
The gold-bearing zones occur at vertical depths from 20 to 225 meters, and are located within quartz vein systems associated with the shear zone. The gold stretches currently extend at least 350 meters along the shear zone in a lateral orientation. A nearby historic surface drilling yielded 7,5 g / t Au on 1,5 meters and 5,9 g / t Au on 4 meters.
Two holes in another part of the concession, such as 6 kilometers to the southeast, intersected crushed pyrite and chalcopyrite mineralization with widths of up to 10 meters in an area where surface abundance on historic sampling is up to 21 g / t Au and 0,7% Cu revealed. We are waiting for the examination results.
Three wells drilled to investigate the anomalies detected in electromagnetic surveys in another geological environment did not intersect economic content. Nearby, however, a historic section of 0,6 meters has been reported with 26 g / t Au.
The analysis was carried out in ALS Minerals' laboratory in Val D'Or, Quebec, using the standard gold fire assay. Information on Globex core sampling procedures, quality assurance / control measures and analytical procedures is available on the Globex website at www.globexmining.com on the Media Center, Technical Information page.
