Emperor Oil Ltd. has appointed John GF McLeod, PEng, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Mr. McLeod has been with 26 since. July 2012 a director of the company. He has been working in the domestic and international oil and gas industry for over 40 years and has gained a lot of experience there. He has held numerous executive positions and served as a board member in numerous private and listed companies. As part of his successful international career, he has specialized primarily in the upstream sector of the onshore oil industry. In the past, he has spent 15 years at Amoco Canada (including four years as Chief Engineer), President and Chief Executive Officer of Arakis Energy Corp., Vice-President of Operations at Pengrowth Energy Trust, and Chief Executive Officer of Rally Energy Corp. and President of United Hydrocarbon International Corp.
He is currently a Director at Heritage Oil PLC and Kallisto Energy Corp. He is also a registered member and former President of the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Alberta.
