Explor Resources Inc. (TSX-V: EXS, OTCQX: EXSFF, FSE & BE: E1H) (“Explor” or the “Company”) announces that at the annual general and extraordinary meeting of shareholders on October 22, 2013, the The following directors were elected: Christian Dupont from Janeville, New Brunswick, Geoffrey Carter from Toronto, Ontario, Mario Colantonio from Porcupine, Ontario, Jacques Frigon from Amos, Quebec and Jonathan Challis from Sevenoaks in Great Britain.
Auditing firm Dallaire & Lapointe Inc. has been re-certified as an independent auditor. The shareholders have also approved the continuation of the company's own stock option plan, ratified the advance notice clause set out in the Articles of Association and approved the merger of the company's common stock at a five (5) to one (1) ratio. The planned name change of the company was also approved.
Following the Annual General Meeting and Extraordinary Meeting, the Board of Directors convened a meeting of Directors and appointed the following executives: Christian Dupont was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, Jacques Frigon Chief Financial Officer and Julie Godard Corporate Secretary.
The following persons were elected to the selection board: Christian Dupont, Mario Colantonio and Geoffrey Carter. Two members of the committee are acting as independent directors.
