Rösler gives the go-ahead for the "German Raw Material Efficiency Prize 2012" competition

April 20.04.2012, 2012 Berlin - The Federal Minister of Economics and Technology today gave the go-ahead for the “German Raw Material Efficiency Prize 1000” competition. The aim of the competition is to sensitize the public to an even more efficient use of raw materials and materials. We are looking for innovative approaches for particularly resource-saving products, processes, services and new application-oriented research results. Scientific institutes and, above all, companies with up to XNUMX employees are invited to apply.

Federal Minister Rösler: “As an industrialized and exporting nation, Germany needs a secure supply of raw materials. Due to the increasing global demand for raw materials, the challenges in using resources are growing. Raw materials must be obtained sustainably and existing material-saving potentials must be further exploited. With the German Raw Material Efficiency Prize 2012 we will be honoring innovative, resource-saving and practice-oriented solutions again this year. "

The award ceremony takes place on the 29. November 2012. The deadline for applications is the 17. September 2012.
