Solaris plans to enter the market for off-grid LED lighting in agriculture
Palm Springs, CA - February 12, 2014: Solaris Power Cells, Inc. - developer of the Solaris SMART-CELL Passive Electron Storage Array ™, (the "Company") OTCBB: SPCL - Germany WKN: A1W9W5 - announces that Solaris has released the has successfully completed initial tests with the newly developed Solaris Agriculture Grow Cell ™, a self-sufficient, off-grid LED lighting system for use in agriculture. The first Solaris systems for optimized LED lighting systems for use in agriculture, has successfully completed.
The first Solaris systems for optimized plant growth are intended for home use or for smaller farms that prefer a remote, self-sufficient island system with solar drive. The Solaris Power Cells are charged by the sun. These cells in turn operate the LED arrays with red-blue spectrum, which allow under planted lighting conditions plant growth even after sunset. Another security feature is that the Solaris Power Cells are solid-state cells that are not dependent on toxic lead-acid batteries. In addition, the Solaris Power Cells can be stored both indoors and outdoors.
Another advantage of the Solaris Power Cells is their freedom from maintenance. It is enough if you place them for energy intake accordingly. For areas where weather conditions and number of hours of sunshine are unpredictable, an optional 110 / 220 Voltage Power Supply is provided. The Solaris Agriculture Grow Cells System is guaranteed for 10 years.
Due to the continuous population growth, the agricultural industry is under increasing pressure to meet the increasing demand for food. New technological developments such as the Solaris Agriculture Grow Cell ™ should help agriculture meet this challenge.
The Solaris Agriculture Grow Cells ™ will initially be sold online. If there is a corresponding market demand and interest from potential dealers or sales partners, we will probably build up a sales network of authorized trading partners.
