The Czech energy company CEZ is considering entering into lithium mining in the Ore Mountains. The company granted a two million euro loan to the company European Metals Holdings (EMH), the holder of the mining rights on the Czech side of the Central Uplands. Czech Industry Minister Karel Havlicek told the agency that until the end of the year CEZ had the option to convert the loan into shares in EMH.
