The production of high-purity, uniformly shaped beryllium wires with the highest possible density and high-purity metal wire for use in semiconductor, CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) and PVD processes (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a specialization.
The standard sizes for metal wires range from 0,75 mm to 1 mm to 2 mm diameter with tight tolerances and alpha (conductivity) values for applications such as gas detection and thermometry tolerances. Beryllium wire in a thickness of 0,125mm can only be made by very few companies worldwide, which results in the extremely high price.
Materials are made using crystallization, solid state, and other ultrahigh-cleaning methods such as sublimation.
