Metallic dysprosium bars with the highest possible density and a purity of 99,8%. Ingots are generally the most inexpensive form of metal and are suitable for general applications. Dysprosium metal is used in rare earth magnet alloys and magnesium alloys. Because of the high susceptibility to magnetization of dysprosium and its compounds, they are used in a wide variety of data storage applications, such as CDs. Dysprosium is also produced as sticks, pellets, powder, pieces, discs, granules, wire, and in composite forms such as oxide.
