REE and metals
The Earth's resources are limited. Rare earth elements and metals, in particular, are indispensable in our modern world. Without these metals, the production of smartphones, fiber optic networks, electric vehicles, laser technology, solar technology, modern medical technology, LEDs, and many other technologies currently in use would be impossible.
We have divided the individual metals into the categories Base Metals, Rare Earths, Strategic Metals, Special Strategic Metals and Isotopes. There are many more names of these metals, such as spice metals, technology metals, etc., but we have decided to make the classification as shown on these pages.
