Q: Charge Europe AG concentrates recycling flows from Balkan neighbors in Croatia

Berlin, 3. December 2013. Q: Charge Europe AG builds Croatia as the central recycling location with the acquisition of MANIR doo for throughout the Balkans. The relatively young and dynamic economies of countries such as Macedonia or Croatia, but also Serbia and Bulgaria, will be producing growing quantities of electronic waste in the coming years. If 12.000 tonnes were in Macedonia last year, Serbia recorded 30.000 tons, Bulgaria 40.000 tons and Croatia 55.000 tons of electronic waste from cell phones, computers or other electrical appliances. Considering that the very young sections of the population in the Balkans are increasingly investing in mobile phones and computers, Q: Charge Europe is entering a growth market in good time, thus securing access and a promising market position.
