we get our metal prices from many different sources and use them to calculate an average price. However, our database does not create a new price if more than 30% of the indications are missing. Unfortunately, this is the case every year during the Chinese New Year celebrations. During this period we will not receive any new price indications from our Chinese partners. This year Chinese New Year begins on January 22nd and lasts 15 days. From February 6.02.2023th, XNUMX, all prices for rare earths, minor metals and base metals will be available from us in real time.

Even if this cannot be changed, we ask our users for their understanding and apologies.

The prices of the metal products remain unaffected. In this market segment we receive the most prices from the EU and USA. China is only mapped 20%, so the prices for metal products such as ingots, powder, wire, granules, etc. are still shown in real time.

The Institute for Rare Earths and Metals AG, ISE AG for short, has been offering interested users access to its price database since 2018. The database is divided into two areas. The pure metals and the metal products. The database of pure metals includes a total of around 800 prices for rare earth metals, minor metals, base metals, steel raw materials, precious metals, strip steel, long steel, ferrous alloys and refractory metals in a wide variety of qualities. The database of metal products includes a total of over 4500 prices for all powders, wires, granules, foils, ingots, bromides, carbides, chlorides, iodides, oxides, etc. in a wide variety of qualities. Depending on market activity, the prices are recalculated between 1-5 times a week. Our database of historical prices goes back to 2010. A fee-based registration is required to access the real-time prices. For students we have made the prices of the pure metals available free of charge as a 6-month average on our website.
