MaterialWeek2021 - With a focus on sustainability
The Material Week has developed into an established meeting for the MatWerk community that takes place every two years. Due to current events, this year's congress will take place from September 07th to 09th, 2021 in a virtual format with a completely new international concept called “MaterialsWeek”.
The event will focus on six main sustainability themes:
Additive manufacturing - innovative materials
Artificial intelligence in materials science
Circular materials
Hydrogen - Challenges for Materials
Lightweight construction with advanced materials
Materials for electromobility
With its topics, MaterialsWeek shows the global importance of materials, especially with regard to raw material scarcity, sustainability and resource efficiency.
In the lecture program, which is put together by the coordinators of the individual topics, international experts present lectures with high application and material relevance.
Poster authors are invited to submit contributions by July 30th.
