The Institute for Rare Earths and Metals AG has moved into its new headquarters.
The headquarters of ISE AG in the heart of the city of Lucerne.
After a long search for a suitable property, ISE AG has found it in the heart of Lucerne. The house at Rhyn, which was built by the Schultheiss family in the 16th century. was built, consists of two components in its current form. The front building with its entrance to Furrengasse and the rear building built in the 18th century in contemporary Louis XVI style. The am Rhyn Haus is one of the most representative houses in Lucerne. It is classified as being of art historical value and has been under federal monument protection since the 50s.
A modern infrastructure with toilets, kitchens, building services and lighting was installed as part of a two-year renovation. All walls, ceilings, floors and surfaces have been professionally renovated. Historic tiled stoves, furniture, mirrors, paintings and reverse glass paintings were restored to their original condition and decorated in their original place. The total cost of the renovation was almost CHF 7 million.
The Institute for Rare Earths is the only tenant in the property with enough space to conduct international business for decades to come. In addition to the 150 square meters of office space, the institute has two meeting rooms, also each with 150 square meters, and a training room with the same number of square meters. All international projects are managed from here; Warehouse, IT and laboratory instructed and all certificates created. The Lucerne head office is also the first point of contact to get in touch with all ISE representatives in the world.
Since Lucerne is the seat of government of the canton of the same name, increased security regulations apply in the town hall. Therefore, we ask all customers to come to us only with prior registration. No spontaneous visitors who do not belong to the institute may be received.
